Its shape is unmistakenly reminiscent of mid-20th Century vintage furniture, but this glamorous living room four door credenza, in white and gold with diamond patterned design, surprises with its equally incomparable 21st Century appeal and contemporary styling. Take a peek inside, and you’ll discover a sea-foam green painted interior that hints at a fun and fresh personality.

Black and gold appear to be making a sophisticated return to home fashion, case in point this divine four door black lacquered and gold detailed, with diamond pattern design, credenza with a nod to Asian minimalist style.
Art Deco Styling
Accentrics Home Collection Model 675065.
Signs of Art Deco styling on furniture and decorative accessories abounded at the 2013 fall High Point market. This lovely five door ivory, gold and black credenza sports diamond patterns and features the streamlined, yet glamour-infused style associated with Art Deco styling.
Hollywood Regency Revival
Accentrics Home Collection Model 641152.
Hollywood Regency style is one of those design styles that seems to have a resurgence every couple of years. As a design fan of the legendary interior designer, Hollywood movie set decorator, and founder of the Hollywood Regency design movement, William Haines – I’m ecstatic to see Hollywood Regency in vogue once again in the home decor market. It’s a timeless, classic style that effortlessly mixes pieces from different decor styles and periods to create a unique and glamorous room. Accentrics Home by Pulaski had several Hollywood Regency inspired consoles and chest on show during the High Point Market. This lacquered red credenza/cabinet, and a few other chests ( next page ) were prime examples of the popularity of two specific 2014 design trend facets. The first is the color red – it is hot and was sighted in many of the High Point Showrooms. The second trend facet is the revisiting of historically significant periods in home decor and furniture style and re-introducing that style in its original form or adding a contemporary twist.
Hollywood Regency & Fearless Reds
Accentrics Home Collection Model 675015.
A rich, red lacquer finish and door panels dressed in captivating Chinoiserie inspired fretwork laid over antique mirrors makes this Accentrics chest a powerful and evocative piece of furniture that is sure to be a conversation starter in any decorative setting. Open the door to this attractive chest, and you’ll notice a pure white interior which creates a striking and visually interesting balance against the bold red of the chest.
Bold Hues & Gold
Accentrics Home Collection Model 641166.
Striking and elegantly enchanting, this vibrant blue two door cabinet detailed with gold trim and gilded sunburst door knobs will grab your attention and refuse to let go. It’s a memorable piece without doubt and can easily find its place in a variety of interior style environments.
Wild Thing – Animal Print
Accentrics Home Collection Model DS-675013.
Animal print everywhere, or so it seemed at the High Point 2013 autumn show. If it wasn’t underfoot, hanging regally from a wall in the form of art, or propped up as a pretty pillow – you could find it on furniture and other decorative accessories. It’s almost unfair to cite animal print as a trend, as it always seems to be part of the everyday design vernacular, but this season and across shows from Europe to Asia – I noted a higher than normal reference to animal prints in the home decor market. At the Accentrics Home showroom, I quickly took note of this interesting Zebra patterned cabinet. It delights in a multitude of ways with its contemporary styling and deep red painted interior – definitely a bold decorative accent and one that you can’t help but notice.
Dress Me Up In Linen Luxe
Accentrics Home Collection Model 549057.
Linen luxury was another recurring theme at High Point. Whether it was real linen wrapped on furniture or faux painted as it is on this piece from Accentrics Home. Linen is quietly being paired with woods and metals to create unique decorative accents and furniture that entices with both their tactile and visual textures.
