A Father’s Illuminating Gift: Stained Glass Lamp

photo

What Inspires Me: This stained glass lamp is a brand new addition to my office.  My father made it for his own home, where I’ve admired it for more than a decade, and sent it to me last week as part of his down-sizing.  I love its hand-crafted beauty and sentimental connection — I’ll think of my father whenever I look at it! — and I’m a huge tulip fan.  It also ties perfectly to the red wall and other bronze finishes in the room.  Last, but definitely not least, this 600-piece lamp is the perfect reminder that dedication is as important to the artistic process as talent.” – Jamie Goldberg
