Arabella BR upholstered headboard and footboard with button tufting, curved frame and decorative molding.
With a graceful nod to the old-world charm of antique French furniture, Accentrics Home by Pulaski Furniture introduces an elegantly aged, glamorous and romantic direction in bedroom design with their new bedroom furniture collection, the Arabella. What is most exciting about this collection, is the feeling one has – that each piece was discovered, over a period of years, while searching amongst antique treasures in the world’s most coveted antiques shops and flea markets. Many of the pieces I was shown, brought to mind some of the beautiful antique furniture and décor I’d seen at the Paris Flea Market.
Accentrics Home’s two drawer Monaco Accent Chest with a distressed finished, caved cabriolet legs and drawer apron.
The artfully carved and voluptuously curvy Monaco Accent Chest serves as a stylish nightstand, with its beautifully aged and distressed pecan wood, adding warmth and character to the bedroom vignette, and also serves as the perfect place to showcase cherished collectibles and well-loved books. The Arabella bed’s sumptuously tufted upholstered headboard gracefully bordered by sinuous bands of aged wood whispers an alluring invitation to stay in bed all weekend, curled up with your treasured copy of Wuthering Heights enjoyed along with a soul-warming cup of Hibiscus and Vanilla herbal tea.
Regal and refined, the Revenna Floor Mirror (on left) enchants with its historical detail and artisan embellishments including hand-applied silver leaf accents. The dainty Roquette Accent Table (on right) has shapely cabriolet legs, and a distressed finish adding old-world charm, warmth and character to the bedroom.
Rustically charming and quintessentially romantic, the Accentrics Home collection pieces shown alongside the Arabella bed illustrated a home decor trend I noted at several furniture showrooms at the 2013 fall High Point Furniture and Design Market – a return to comfortable glamour, livable elegance and unabashed femininity in design. Tracey Gibson, the designer behind the Accentrics Home collection shares her inspiration for this trend-driving collection, and also discusses her new and absolutely gorgeous new bedroom collection for Accentrics which is previewed in the video. This collection debuted at the fall 2013 High Point market and will be covered in detail on The Decorating Diva in a future post.
