Stanley recalls 1,200 cribs
(June 2008) U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Stanley Furniture has issued a voluntary recall for 1,200 of its 2nd Nature Build to Grow cribs that could pose a safety issue for infants. The recall involves cribs manufactured in Slovenia and sold in furniture and department stores from March 2006 through December 2007 for about $1,100. No injuries have been reported. Jardine Enterprises recalls 320,000 cribs
(June 2008) U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with Jardine Enterprises, has announced a voluntary recall of about 320,000 Jardine cribs. The cribs were sold at KidsWorld, Geoffrey Stores, Toys “R” Us, and Babies “R” Us stores nationwide and at www.babiesrus.com from January 2002 through May 2008. The cribs retailed between $150 and $300, with one model, the 0309K00 Mahogany Positano Lifetime crib, selling for $450. More at: jardinecribrecall.com
