Blissliving Home, the new interior lifestyle brand for the stylish consumer seeking modern design with global influence, announces the launch of its Give & Receive shopping event, to benefit Food for Others, the largest food bank in Northern Virginia.
With unemployment rates rising, food banks are struggling to keep up with daily increasing demand. Compounding the problem is that food drives are typically a holiday phenomenon. By summer, many food banks’ supplies dwindle. This year, supplies might run out faster than in normal years.
“Food for Others provides families in Northern Virginia with thousands of free meals every day,” says Mei Xu, creator and CEO of Blissliving Home. “We wanted to join them in the fight against hunger. I hope our support will help Food for Others meet the demand for free food during these trying times. Everyone deserves a good meal by the end of the day.”
