We need to prevent breast cancer from even happening!

Google “Breast Cancer Deception” Goto NewsTarget and get informed. Get more sunlight! Don’t wear cancer causing sunscreen.

    John,

I completely agree with you, we do need to stop breast cancer (all cancers as far as I’m concerned) from ever happening. However, that’s where my agreement with your comment ends.

There isn’t enough concrete evidence at this time to prove a direct correlation between human breast cancer and sunscreen usage.

The issue you point out isn’t about getting enough sunlight. The underlying issue is about estrogen-mimicking ( bio-identical) chemicals in some sunscreens which MAY trigger (still not proven ) the development of breast cancer cells - which I must repeat, again, that there have not been any studies that prove a link between sun screen usage and breast cancer in humans.

Over the last year we saw some of the same concerns about soy and breast cancer and in years past it was some other factor that was supposed to be good for you but wasn’t.

The bottom line for all, is to seek the expert advice of your physician

You also don’t have to forsake sun protection. If you are concerned about using sunscreen you can always use sun blocks which contain zinc oxide or titanium dioxide and there’s always the option of using physical blocks such as clothing and hats. Again check with your doctor.
