Design Miami/ 2010’s Most Memorable Design: Vintage Inspired Style

Jean Royere Furniture | TheDecoratingDiva.com Criss Cross Bed Jean Royere | TheDecoratingDiva.com(1) I’ve always loved early to mid-20th Century design and was pleasantly surprised to see quite a few of the galleries exhibiting at Design Miami/ offering beautiful pieces. My favorite was the vignette showcasing iconic furniture from celebrated French designer Jean Royère.

Netscape by Konstantin Grcic Design Miami | TheDecoratingDiva.com (2) Design Miami/ 2010 Designer of the Year, Konstantin Grcic, relaxing on his Netscape outdoor seating installation. This installation has been my favorite, and, in my opinion, the best Design Miami/ designer of the year installation since I first started covering the show in 2008.  Craig Robins the co-founder of the Design Miami/ fair donated the Netscape to the Miami Art Museum which is scheduled to open to the public in 2013.
