Industrial designer Tord Boontje, Red Dot Award winner for the “Little Field of Flowers” rug shown here, has designed a sculptural visual treat composed of punched out flowers (from wool felt) in a variety of shapes and monochromatic color tones mimicking natures’ grassy fields and flower-filled meadows. |

The LED Cell rug is made from 100% wool felt strips that are strategically embedded with LEDs . The LAMA concept led cell carpets come in a range of sizes to fit any interior space (and have even been spotted on walls, airplanes and other non-traditional areas). In addition, to being innovative and eco-chic the LED Cell has an advantage over many rugs – if a portion becomes worn out, it’s simple to replace the worn out piece without having to discard the entire rug or carpet. |

This one-of-a-kind rug is lovingly hand-crafted from “repurposed, previously loved (often vintage), freshly laundered fabrics- primarily cotton sheets and pillowcases scouted at secondhand shops. “ , says Jennie, the talented designer and owner of So So Rosey. According to Jennie her upcycled rugs are given textural and visual interest through the use of patterns and a combination of fabrics including “brushed cotton alongside jersey knit and flannel”.
