I’m in the process of remodeling my bedrooms (four) in my home (California) … and for some reason I was stumped when it came to keeping in line with the above trends with window treatments. Drapes and curtains can be a tough one.

However, after some careful Net searching … I found a store that incorporates the above trends of contrast, understated luxury, all shades of white, and cool metals – it’s called DrapeStyle (www.drapestyle.com). Do you know how hard it was to find an elegant, rich looking plain white drape in silk that didn’t look chintzy? It took me exactly two weekends. They also have wonderful “metal” hardware accessories for the curtains. Not the cheapest … but then again … probably the most luxurious I found.
