Mad Men Inspired Decor in HGTV’s Urban Oasis Trump Towers Chicago

Fabulously modern interpretation of 60s’ inspired design.  Even though I had a bit of pause when I saw the wall color, that feeling immediately subsided when I saw how wonderfully the color performed as an organic neutral backdrop for the ecclectic mix of vintage furniture and decor. I truly loved this design which took full advantage of the soul-stirring views. As Jack Thomasson, HGTV House Planner, told me, this was more than just about having spectacular views.  When he scouted this location he wanted the homeowner to feel like he was ‘in’ this city in the sky. And accomplish that he did. Looking out the glass walls you can’t help but feel as  if you are part of the towering structures.
