Spring Time Home Decorating

Say good-bye to the dull Winter blues and get ready to embrace a fresh color-filled Spring. Here are a few tips to get you home Spring ready:

Add any of the following colors to your decorating color scheme: variations of orange (the IT color 2006), white, black, lime green and turquoise. These popular colors for spring will instantly add a fresh updated look to your home decor. If you are not sure how to pick the right color to match your personality and lifestyle look here

Gold is THE accent color this season and no room should be without a touch of the glamour Gold creates. Here are some ideas on using gold in your home decorating color scheme:
Pick a room that is in desperate need of a a face-lift and breathe new life into it with a fresh coat of paint. Choose a light color wall paint that will make the room appear lighter, airier and make it look much bigger.

if you have a lot of dark furniture, lighten it up by painting it a lighter color or by replacing the upholstery with a lighter more colorful style to help balance out the darker elements of the furniture.

Replace your darker winter pillows with pillows that use lighter fabrics and colors. My personal favorite this season is a pink toile with lime green details - think Lilly Pulitzer meets French Country. Fun, feminine and very fresh.

Don’t forget about bringing Spring indoors with lovely floral arrangements. We recommend a range of pinks, sages, soft creams and peaches.
