The Paradis custom bench from Hutton Home’s Pierre Paris collection embraces the timeless essence of true luxury and marries it with an intoxicatingly seductive feminine style. In one word this piece is simply, captivating.
Councill’s sleek Ginger chaise in a deep blue jewel-tone accented with dark trim creates a restrained glamour fitting of both contemporary and traditional interior styles.
Bradburn’s Harlow table lamp’s sophisticated silhouette and gilded base is reminiscent of old Hollywood glamour and elegance.
Famed French photographer Emmanuel Thibault’s collaboration with luxury rug maker, Diacasan Edition, has reincarnated his iconic images into another art form – hand crafted wool rugs.
This timeless classic has been a long time favorite. When asked to describe this illuminating beauty I offered the following statement: Striking in color and graceful in structure, the red Agatha suspension light fixture immediately captured my attention. The sculptural yet airy design reminds me of the elegant, flouncy skirt of a Jason Wu dress [...]
To say that I developed an intense decor crush on SkateModerne’s lovely faux shagreen finished Lavender Fern Cabinet would probably be putting it lightly. The intricate, delicate fern patterns (difficult to truly appreciate in the image) in the cabinet doors and the coral cabinet door pulls are a masterpiece of thoughtful design.
An enchanting visual story unfolds in each of the carefully placed details of Porte Italia’s hand painted (with watercolors) wood Cividale oval chest of drawers: the considerate aging of the piece, the lovingly rendered leaves, and the jewel-like drawer handles.
The grand dame of decorating, Dorothy Draper, originally conceived of this Chinese Chippendale inspired curio cabinet for The Greenbrier Hotel she decorated – and is so famously known for. Decor Shopping Resource: The Dorothy Draper Collection by Kindel.
Albert Sacks’ yellow-hued ‘Albert’ sofa for Hickory Chair fills the room with a vibrant, sunshine induced cheerfulness. With touches of both traditional and modern styling coupled with an almost unexpected, if not somewhat unconventional, burst of happy yellow color, the Albert sofa makes a memorable decor statement.
Reminiscent of the vivid blue turquoise waters of the Caribbean this modern style blown glass chandelier exudes an aura of sophistication, elegance and grace. Decor Shopping Resource: Currey & Co.
Crystorama’s Cypress lighting collection’s delicate and romantic floral design belies the fact that the very feminine-style chandelier is forged of iron. I love the powerful design contradictions between the feminine and masculine design materials: a strong iron structure dressed in a dainty, pretty exterior replete with delicately sculpted rose petals.
Regina Andrew’s Gold-leaf glass-top table is exotically charming and visually light. The table’s gilded Quatrefoil pattern anchors the piece with a bit of design history dating back centuries, but the overall clean design interpretation makes the table decidedly modern.
Corbett Lighting’s ‘Bangle’ lighting pendent is a perfect illustration of the modern classic style infused with jewelry themed elements drawn from the fashion world. Love its simplicity, elegance and timeless beauty.
