Turkish luxury textile manufacturer Penelope exhibited its 2019 drapery and upholstery collection at the storied Villa Erba location during Proposte Fiera 2018.

On show were colorful ethnic prints including a rhinoceros printed on fabric. Though flat to the touch, the textile visually resembled an intricate and artful embroidery. Colorways ranging from dusty earth tones to intense jewel tones in patterns from simple geometries to lush exotic prints captivated the imagination. And amidst the concert of bright colors and bold patterns, there were also contemporary minimalist colors. All the fabrics had the beautiful hand that has become synonymous with the inherent beauty of Penelope Textiles.
