Emmemobili Furniture Collection by Designer Elena Salmistraro at iSaloni 2019

It was impossible to avoid being drawn in to explore this divinely curated vignette of exemplary furniture design and craftsmanship at Emmemobili. The colors. The luxe appeal. The art-inspired design. All beckoned for a deeper, closer look.
What captured my attention was how this furniture collection designed by celebrated Italian designer Elena Salmistraro skillfully straddled the design equator that separates severe minimalism from the visually suffocating cacophony of maximalism.
It’s a design that feels like paradise found for those of us who seek a balance between the austere-driven decorative constraint of minimalist design and the multi-layered decor explosion that embodies trendy maximalist designs.
